HISTORY
======================================================================

July 1997 --- Release of version 1.0 (finally!)

TRS80V10.ZIP now contains all software, documentation and the NEWDOS/80
virtual disk. TRS80X10.ZIP contains the other 4 virtual disks.

Changes:
- I have finally written the exchange program (EXCHANGE.CMD). Use this
  program if you want to copy files from your Atari (and Internet!) onto
  virtual disks or copy TRS-80 files on the virtual disks to separate
  Atari files. You have to run this program from within the emulator;
- Keyboard shortcuts for snapshot loading and saving;
- Keyboard shortcut for switching the "dark background" option. Note
  that I implemented it in a dirty way so that background windows will
  not be updated correctly until you pause the emulation.
- More virtual disks included.
- I updated the manual and included a FAQ file;
- I included a slow down option using the TRS-80 RTCI. If set to zero
  it will not slow down the emulation in any way. If you have a fast
  machine you should enter a large number in the option dialog. As you
  will notice, the slowdown doesn't work good and is therefore almost
  useless;
- I have set all PDRIVE options back to 40 track disks since I only
  include 40 track disks (thanks Gunter);
- The patched CSHIN routine now writes the length of the opened Atari
  file in addresses 40dfh and 40e0h (limited to 64KB);
- Some cosmetic changes;

August 1996 --- Version 0.6

The package now consists of two .ZIP files. TRS80V06.ZIP contains the
minimum configuration. TRS80X06.ZIP contains conversion software and
software for exchanging files between the Model III and your Atari.
It also contains extra documentation.

Changes:
- Support of all monochrome video resolutions starting with ST high
(not in MagiCMac mode);
- Support of virtual disks other then 40 tracks (max 80) and 18
sectors per track. The FDC emulation is not yet extended, only the
header checks are changed;
- ROM tape routines rerouted to disk file which can be selected if
the search for header routine is called. This could be used by Tape
to Disk copy programs. This patch cannot be disabled. Note that the
current optional CLOAD, CSAVE and SYSTEM rerouting is not changed;
- Snapshot loading/saving added. Memory, registers and options are
saved;
- Incomplete help removed (just read the manual);
- Changed settings on NEWDOS disk. Disk 3 now defined as SS/SD disk
for Model 1 disks;
- Startup message;
- NEWDOS/80 info translated to ASCII
- 2nd Connection and 2nd Convert added to the package;
- Manual, BASIC manual and other info included.

- I started to write a small tape to disk copy program but I will
release v0.6 before its finished. I included the source which I have
written until now on the NEWDOS/80 disk (not much). Let me know if you
want to finish it. I will probably not work on it for a while;
